about Rod Sawatsky

Hi and thanks for the visit. A bit about me...I was born in BC, raised in the Congo (DRC) and educated in BC. It's been 15 years since I finished design school and started work as a freelance designer in Greater Vancouver. Following a recent move, I now live and work in Oregon, USA. I have worked on a broad range of design projects including logos, corporate identity, packaging, brochures, large format tradeshow graphics, CD covers, 3D product illustration, web design and hand lettering. Client needs are quite varied and I'm always stretching my skills to offer the best quality solutions.

If you think you might need my help on a project I'd love to hear from you and find out more about what you do. My approach to any design project starts with getting to know you (my client) and finding out what you have a passion for. If it becomes apparent through talking that I am not ideally suited to your project needs I will try to point you in the right direction. I believe in openness and honesty. I do, however, have a great team of colleagues skilled in various disciplines that can help tell your story. Design for marketing is always a guess at what is going to communicate the right message to your intended audience...but for us it's a guess backed by careful thought and our collective experience. So far the results have been very rewarding. I can't overstate the importance of a satisfied client. If it means extra time to get things right I put it in without a fuss. I love the variety of people and projects i've been able to work with. Keep them coming!
